This is a 2 CD set of the 2010 Great Lakes Unity Music Conference Concert held on Friday May 7, 2010. The content of the discs are as follows:
Disc 1 - The 2010 Great Lakes Unity Music Conference was facilitated by Rickie Byars-Beckwith and Tim McAffe-Lewis, to whom we will be eternally grateful. There is no way to describe the energy, the purpose, the musical knowledge, the talent and the love that everyone experienced at the conference and, of course, the concert itself, which served as the finale. We trust the sampling you get from this CD will serve to give you a taste of that inexplicable experience.
Disc 2 - This disc includes the narration between the songs. As the concert was being edited for this CD, it became evident that Rickie and Tim were sharing some profound thoughts. That’s not to say that all of what they shared was profound. Some of it was informative, some of it was funny and some of it was hilarious. We decided to share this aspect of this concert with you on Disc 2. We trust you will enjoy this added dimension as much as we enjoy being able to share it with you…IN-JOY!
